CBRE Announces $15.5 Million Sale of Montclair Shoppes in Southern California

The Blau Journal recently published this article about the sale of the Montclair Shoppes in Southern California:

CBRE Group, Inc. announced the sale of the Montclair Shoppes in Southern California for $15.5 million to a local investor, signaling the increasing demand for income-producing real estate in population growth areas.

The property is highly visible from Central Avenue and is located next to or across from the Montclair Plaza, Costco, Target, and Stater Bros., providing a strong retail base. Traffic counts on the 10 Freeway at Central Avenue are estimated at 253,000 vehicles per day, and on Central Avenue at the 10 Freeway at 37,174 vehicles per day.

Panera, Chipotle added in Brea center renovation

Here is an article from the Orange County Register about some of the new retailers in the Brea Plaza Shopping Center:

If you’ve been in or around the Brea Plaza shopping center lately, you can see that the $40 million renovation of the 15.5-acre center on Imperial Highway is nearly complete.

Several newcomers to the center at Associated Road and Imperial Highway are making plans to open their doors in the coming months.

What’s new in Montclair

The Daily Bulletin featured our Montclair property in an article on April 19, 2016:

Noticed the three new retail buildings in Montclair south of the 10 Freeway on Central Avenue? The Montclair Shoppes, as they’re named, are slowly opening with tenants.

The neighborhood center, across from the Costco gas station, totals 20,000 square feet and occupies a spot where a Long John Silver’s hoisted its flag from 1978 to 2011.

The southernmost building has a Starbucks and a Sleep Number mattress store, two neighbors that would seem to be competing philosophically. Both are open, and only one has a drive-through.
